If I could give Chef Mac and his staff 100 stars, I would! I am a wedding planner, but I also worked with them as the client for my brother’s wedding. As a planner, I need to give them kudos for being so flexible and easy to work with. They went along with all of our crazy ideas, including creating a Vermont versus Wisconsin cheese competition. As the client, the food was absolutely delicious! I hope to work with Mac and his staff in the future!

We were connected with Chef Mac through Forage Society for a recent multi-day women’s retreat in Asheville, and I truly cannot imagine the experience without him. From the very beginning, it was clear that he cared deeply about creating not just meals, but an experience of nourishment, inclusion, and connection for our group. We had 18 women attending plus myself and my co-host, many with different dietary needs and considerations, and he handled all of it with thoughtfulness, flexibility, professionalism, and care. Every meal was beautifully prepared, deeply comforting, and genuinely delicious. Our group repeatedly commented on how incredible the food was throughout the retreat. Beyond the quality of the meals themselves, there was something grounding and welcoming about the way he approached the experience that fit perfectly with the tone of our weekend. As a retreat host, one of the things I appreciated most was how calm, capable, and easy to work with he was throughout the entire process. Chef Mac and his team catered an incredible weekend full of delicious meals. Every person in our party was considered and accommodated. I have never had such fresh and flavorful food prepared for me. Highly recommend for private catered events and other event needs.

So the first time that I called about catering, I was knee-deep in wedding planning and I just wanted to pull my hair out😂 Mac Said to me that he would take care of everything - And make this process as smooth as possible. HE DID. The food was farm to table - INCREDIBLE. And honestly, the vibe the whole time was amazing - we loved working with ciao yall and they took care of our wedding. Even our venue complimented them on their professionalism. Highly recommend ❤️

Incredible - every single item Chef Mac made was a masterpiece. After he and I spoke a bit and got to know each other, he tailored the menu for my sons birthday to accommodate flavors that are nostalgic for me and where I grew up, while also making insanely delicious food that has roots here in North Carolina. Every person at the party couldn’t stop raving about the food and we are really sad the leftovers are gone. I remember chef asking me if it was cool to give people to-go boxes of food and I said “NO THATS MINE!” I meant it. That food is too good to give away, even to my family and friends. Thank you, chef, for your talent, artistry and extreme expertise.
